MULTIPOR mineral insulation boards round off XELLA's range of construction materials. This solid mineral insulation board provides building shells made of lime-sand blocks or aerated concrete with excellent insulation from the solid mineral insulation board. The use of MULTIPOR in the roof and exterior walls as well as in ceilings of cellars and underground car parks reduces heat loss and protects the building against humidity damage.
MULTIPOR mineral insulation board
MULTIPOR mineral insulation board is a silicate insulating material. In addition to its outstanding biological building properties, this material has been certified by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Umweltverträgliches Bauprodukt" ("Eco-Friendly Building Products Committee") for its excellent ecological compatibility. Due to the special structure of the material, these handy boards offer a combination of properties: they are dimensionally stable, permeable to vapour, non-flammable (A1) and fibre-free. Their uses in old and new buildings include interior insulation, insulation of ceilings, basements and garages, solid steep roofs and mounted, ventilated façades. This innovative insulating material is also used in composite thermal insulation systems. The boards measure 600 mm x 390 mm with a thickness between 60 mm and 140 mm.
